Aldara has proved to have some effects in fighting some skin cancer types, but has also proved at times to be inappropriate especially for the elder people. A reasonable approach would be to consider the side effects first and the beneficial effects later. There are only a handful of alternatives to Aldara, but there are a few. The duty to choose the right medication does not rely on the patient though, but on the doctor and it would be commendable for the them to inform the risks they are subjected to before they write the magical name of Aldara on a prescription.
